Bought this kit for a mid 90’s gm truck that I was trying to fix the ac in. The steel lines that went to the evaporator were galled and this kit cleaned up the threads after I finally got it apart and saved me from having to disassemble the entire dash and replace the evaporator!

This kit is a must have for a shop or technician. It saved me from having to ship a brand new steering box with bad threads back to the manufacturer.

They appear to be good quality, however the opening to the threads does not allow for a thread that has been mushroomed a bit, they are good for cleaning up burred threads

well made, excellent choice to chase threads rather than using a tap. and FJC, Inc.'s price was just a lot better than elsewhere.

These worked great. I was able to re-thread the AC hoses on my Audi A4 rather than replacing them for $300 plus labour. Very happy with the product and the price.

If you do air cond work you must have this set. Also the metric set is needed. Works great, had an older car that you couldn't get a a/c line for so this helped to repair the line.
