Sniper FL2000 Green Laser Sight + 200LM LED Flashlight Combo. This arrived well packed in a sturdy hinged box, parts fitted into die-cut foam. Included an extra set of batteries (non-rechargeable), in addition to the battery set pre-installed in the unit. Also contained a pressure switch cord/connector.Did not include any documentation or user manual. It is a fairly heavy, robust body. Installed easily on a picatinny rail with a single thumb-screw bolt. Not the most confidence inspiring mount, but adequate. The plastic Laser adjustment knobs have large slots to use a tool to turn them, but they can easily be turned with finger tips. Adjustment clicks are audible and tactile. They appear to arrive pre-centered, both windage and elevation, There are single small index marks on the knobs. There is a lever switch to select between flashlight, laser, or both combined. The light is pretty bright, illuminates in a non adjustable flood pattern. The green laser is very bright, and is visible in light or dark conditions. The included pressure switch is only momentary on-off. So, as long as you are pressing the contact, the selected lights will be on. The pressure switch area is long, with four separate switches under the rubber cover. Pushing any one (or any or all) will activate the momentary on.The cable connector is a push-on type, pull back on the collar ring to detach. It seems wiggly and lightweight and flimsy. A better, more military level connector would be a threaded ring. The silver colored aluminum connector looks out of place and kind of cheesy.I have opted not to use the remote pressure switch, the coiled cord is too long and bulky for my set up. And, well, the looks..There is a textured rubber pressure on/off button on the side of the unit for directly activating the laser and light.I mounted this on the front end forearm of a .30 caliber rifle with a scope, the scope mount is slightly raised, and this unit does not interfere with the scope field-of-view. If you have a scope or other optic mounted lower or close to the rail you may get some blockage. So this unit can mount underneath or on the side as well, you just need some available picatinny rail.I like this FL2000 unit. It does look cool on my FDE themed rifle. Not a fan of the cord/connector.And, price seems high for a civilian level laser/light.

I am a big fan of this, having had to use separate lights and lasers for years. I had seen the military M4s with curious looking assemblies in videos and always wondered what they were, then learned they were light/laser combo units. This is what this is modeled after. Low profile and desert tan in color. This mounts and works great. There is a permanent mini rail on the top that may interfere with sight lines in some applications: look at this closely when considering this unit.Functionality is great, and both laser and light are super bright. Switch works great. One thing of potential importance: being as this is meant to look like the military version, it must be noted that the connectors are stainless steel. As in bright silver metal. Keep this in mind if you are trying to get this for a stealthy setup. You will need to paint or otherwise subdue the finish. With that change it would be great for re-enactment or airsoft duty. Naturally actual operators or for heavy field use one will require the real thing.

At first, I was a bit surprised as this unit reminded me of other similar products I used while deployed and so I got my hopes up right away. Good news, my hopes were not shattered but maybe a crack or two occurred while working with the product. My first observation was no instructions. Not a super big deal for those who are practice with firearms and devices like this, or mostly any decent scope or laser pointer. However, if this is all new to you then you should get a manual or more so one should have come with the unit. The system is rather rugged, I wouldn’t test it against some Mil Specs, but it just seems rugged, one suggestion is the least that can be done is put this through basic IP testing but it seems I couldn’t even find an IP rating so that wasn’t very pleasant.Nice touches are the dials for adjustments are well placed and move smoothly enough to really dial in what you want without being so loose they move easily or just adjust with almost no touch. The quick release is good but a touch unnecessary and I’d say its not the best anyway so really its taking up money or it was thrown into the package to give the package the feel of being worth more than it might be perceived to be worth.I’d say this is a 3 star rating, price is too high for this kind of unit, no lab testing to give a durability rating or water resistance, no instructions. Its just a lot to overcome.

Only two things I do not like about this laser/light combo. 1st is the metal that connects the pressure switch to the unit is silver and sticks out. (I painted it black to match the unit and pressure switch easy fix) 2nd I do not like the rail mount on the top of the unit. I thought i would be able to remove it but I can't. ( that's a personal thing) However, 5 stars great product and my personal preferences should take away from how good of a unit this is.
