Great lectern. Shelf was trash though. Broke apart pretty fast. The pegs didn't stay in. Building was easy height and size was good. And comfort it's good.

I need this because sitting is hurting so much at my job. I needed something narrow to stand behind, lean on slightly, but still write ect. Looks great and serves the purpose without spending a huge amount.

So it's not sturdy, I can't place the final locks, and the 'easiest' part of placing the shelving was also difficult, because the piece for those were too small.The 'cam post' grips were sharp and cut into my skin, so I have a feeling those weren't going in properly, which made everything else slant.The whole ensemble requires the three main slabs to fit perfectly and support one another for the locks in place. Only, they are all now at an awkward angle, and I can't fit all of them. I wanted to start over, but the locks are now stuck in place, so I'll have to make it work.Support isn't great because the overall setup is flawed. I much prefer assembly that has outside screws, not inner.

This lectern was very easy to assemble and is of high quality once it is put together. We added wheels to the bottom of the lectern to make it easier to move around our conference room. This is a five star lectern and is very much worth the price!!

My husband and I purchased this podium for our ministry. We rated this as 5 stars because it was delivered in a timely manner, beautiful mahogany wood, great price, quality product, very sturdy, great height and width and very easy to assemble. It actually looks better than the picture in person. We highly recommend this product.

I purchased this Lectern to use during classes at a local gun range. This is an economy style podium, made of pressed wood and veneer. It would be nice if they offered a wider model as once you put a laptop on it you are out of room for notes or other reference material. What this podium is though is a very good value for anyone on a limited budget. I found it to be very easy to assemble and looked good. The shelf is a nice idea but sits unsecured on four small pegs, if you move it even a couple of inches while retrieving items from it, the shelf and contents all hit the floor. Bottom line its inexpensive and functional.

I'm 5'9, and this lectern has functioned perfectly for me as a standing desk. The work surface is large enough for my laptop and a book, and the pen tray is a nice touch.Assembly was very easy, and the hardware is all high quality. The lectern has a very solid feel. It's a simple piece of furniture, but the build quality was much higher than I expected for the price.

This is a very sturdy (and heavy) lectern. It is spacious and solid. Easy to put together. The only small problem are the pins to hold the shelf - you'll need a hammer to make sure they stay in the hole. Great price and very quick delivery.
