Super disappointed in the little turtle. We had for about 3 days before I realized the thermometer was not even attached. Then the bottom was rusty. I feel like we received someones return. Just sad how this didn’t work. The neighbor kids that it was so cute. Just wished it would have functioned!

The thermometer came unattached shortly after using it. I’ve bought several of these and it happens every time. Poor quality.

Unfortunately, this product was defective. We purchased to keep in our ice bath and the temperature stayed at 55 degrees we pulled it out and left on the counter for an hour while we were cleaning the tub and the temperature still reflected 55 degrees in a 70-degree house. we only had for 1 day and realized that it was defective. Not sure if this is common with this product or just a random thing?? Anyways - we were unhappy.

Wanted the item to place in the pool. Put it in early in the day. Tried to check the temperature & the measuring red line tube was leaning to the side. Then it actually swayed left & right. You could not read the temperature. I would add a picture, but have already started the return process.

It’s really cute putting in my koi pond to measure the water temperature. I have to decide when to switch from Summer food to Winter food for koi fish. I won’t keep it there all the time, but I just use it when I need to measure.

Gave 4 stars bc I wish it was larger so it didn’t get stuck in my skimmers. Keeps track of the temperature accurately. Well made product ..Turtle is adorable.

I use this for my koi pond. Depending on the temperature in Michigan, they get summer food, cool food, and no food as they don't get fed in winter. They hibernate or whatever it is called. We have a heater to keep a hole in the surface.
