I bought a home with these installed as per instructions (PERMANENTLY mounted into a rough opening) and one of the screens was broken out. When I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement screen it turns out the screen is not individually replaceable! It appears the screen is designed to break away with relatively minor force (like if there was a blockage with high water pressure behind it) but when that happens, you have to tear out the entire assembly to get a new screen in place. In my home that means having to repair stucco and more. It seems like it would have been relatively easy to design a permanent part and a replaceable part to prevent major tear out for something as simple as a missing screen.Granted I didn't choose these myself, and if I did I may have tried to mount them in a manner that would make replacement easier but per their own instructions...assembly should be glued in place using strong construction adhesive...very poor design IMO. I wouldn't use these if I were building new or retrofitting unless they made the screen replaceable.

Terrible product. Purchased directly from the manufacturer, installed per directions, water pours into my garage every time it rains. Gave the manufacturer several opportunities via phone calls and shared text messages to come up with a solution and they refused. Will not allow me to return. Manufacturer took the stance that I’m the only person that’s ever complained about it. So they weren’t inclined to do anything about it. Poor design promotes water into your home. When not on a flood situation.
