The case requires assembly with small, highly visible screws along a flimsy perimeter that doesn't provide a dust-proof seal. The structure feels somewhat delicate, requiring care when removing the top for cleaning. However, the crystal-clear acrylic and mirrored back add a nice touch.

I really REALLY love this display case - I knew that this would be a great way to showcase my favorite 187th Legion Clone Trooper Helmet. However, I have to caution everyone that the case is extremely fragile (read: easy to damage) and requires careful CAREFUL handling. If you are not patient and take your time, you WILL end up damaging the case or even breaking it. So, be sure to read the instructions multiple times (I read them three times myself!) and move slowly - I repeat TAKE YOUR TIME SLOWLY and deliberately when assembling. And don't worry about fingerprints - remove the protective plastic BEFORE assembly. Use a table, workbench or get on the floor. Trust me - with proper handling, this display case will beautifully showcase your memorabilia for years to come!*Note I want to give it 3-stars because it is fragile but I have to give 4 stars - it's THAT nice.Again, take your time with this one... it will be worth it!

What a great way to display a helmet, basketball, or other similarly sized item. I'm using mine to display a Stormtrooper helmet and it works perfectly. Assembly is not difficult but the panels are a little thinner than I liked while trying to assemble it. Just be patient and careful and it should not be an issue, though. The mirrored back is nice for getting a full view of your displayed item and overall the case has a very classy, sharp look to it. I'm very happy with it.

My son loves his case for his favorite player who autographed his helmet! Easy to assemble, value was awesome. Looks great in this room. Functionality is great.
