Fotga E50 series monitor includes 2 models: E50 (HDMI) and E50S (HDMI+SDI).Both these 2 models come with the following features:
- All features you want for a monitor: all scopes,waveform,vector,histogram,3D LUT,zoom,anamorphic mode,zebra,peaking,false color,Monochrome,center markett,safety marker,edge enhance,etc
- Super high brightness up to 2500nits.By adopting new technology,the brightness is raised up to 2500nits.Daylight visibile.
- Screen type: IPS screen.Screen touch control and physical button control.Touch screen can be turned on/off in menu,or short-press power switch to turn on or off.Function of physical buttons can be customized for shortcut operation.
- Uninterrupted power supply: Dual NP-F battery plate (one battery does work alone) and DC-in power supply.When using lithium battery,you can also using a DC coupler battery to power your camera through the BAT out port.
- USB port for firmware upgrading and LUT files uploading.There are default undeletable 5 inter LUT files,and you can also import extra 8 LUT files.Built-in instruction in the menu.
- Made of aviation aluminum and high-strength engineering plastic.Lightweight but sturdy.
- Tips:what's the letter stands for when we name the models:T stands for Touch screen,L stands for 3D Luts,S stands for SDI.
- Common problem you may meet:
Touch screen not work:1.Please check if touch screen function is turned on.Short-press on power switch would cause it turn on or off.2.Some poor quality AC adapter around would also cause touch screen disable.
No Signal: try a difference HDMI or SDI cable.If your version is TLS,please ensure you have already switched to the right signal type through menu.

Preso come monitor low mode per la steadicam, piccolo leggero e molto luminoso . Se queste sono le caratteristiche che cercate è meglio di un tvlogic 5a e costa una frazione. I sistemi di controllo dell esposizine funzionano e si possono importare lut 3d. Non so se lo raccomanderei come monitor per focus puller, è meglio di un feelworld ma meno inciso di un tv logic o small hd

The monitor itself is amazing. Really bright, great functionality, and having 7 function buttons is awesome. It's lightweight/plastic while still feeling solid. It has all the ports you'd need and the mount is almost perfect. As far as the grip between the mount and the monitor, it's been better than the Smallrig metal mounts. I love that it spins at the top and not the base! My only complaint is that you can't get the shoe tight enough, and if you do, good luck taking it back off. I took off the metal shoe piece to try and swap out the tightening disc with a stronger one, but it's held on by a hilariously small screw, it works, but you can't really fix it unless you 3d print a new part. If they made a pro version of this mount with sturdy but lightweight aluminum with a better tightening disc, I'd buy it in an instant because it really is damn near perfect aside from that one major flaw. If you do decide to make a pro version, being able to rotate at both the base and the top would be great!2 other downsides I've found is there's no horizontal screen flip option, and it doesn't show the status of both batteries. It's just one combined readout, so there's no way to tell which battery needs replaced.Update: Died in less than a year with light use. Too expensive to ship back to have repaired.

For couple of months I’ve been looking for super bright monitor, with sdi out in there, and recently bumped into this brand, haven’t heard about them on the market of monitors, but I think they exceeded all my expectations.Love the tiny screwdriver they include in the package.So overall- I’ve used it for one project so far, but I can say right away - this is a very capable monitor with ability to select LUTs for your best perception. Looking forward to working with it again!
