I purchased this cable to connect radio triggers (Yongnuo RF-603N II) to the 10-pin port on a Nikon D500, as a replacement for the standard cord that shipped with those triggers, which has a mini-USB connector useful for older and different Nikon cameras. The cable swaps in as a direct replacement and works perfectly. There is a threaded connector to screw it into the camera port, and a standard mini-phone (3.5mm stereo) plug for the trigger. It works as advertised.
