Maybe I ordered the wrong one but the size was to long. I easily cut it down with a dremel. And it fit! The popping noise is no more! Thank you, bc my wife was so annoyed she wanted me to buy a fridge. And I’m sure I’m in the same boat with lots of folks, fix instead of buying new. Especially at the $12 price point. And new appliances are all garbage. Thank you.

The part is fine and as described, the reason for a star removed is (fairly or not) because amazon said it would fit my refrigerator but it did not. This part had a longer stem than the optimal part I would need. I was able to cut it down to size with a saw but obviously if it says it would fit I'd rather it just fit.

This was a great replacement to fix our Frigidaire side by side door. Ours was so broken that we had to get creative to remove the existing one, but one we got it out and this one in it worked great! Much cheaper than a new fridge!
