Between this or buying a replacement light fixture I'd pick this. Very bright, simple install, never have to replace a CFL again.

After a few installs this is a really quick replacement for CFL emergency backup ballast/backup lighting systems. Small enough to fit neatly within the existing housing. It takes up less space than the system it replaces.
