Now this glassware looks very well crafted and the sizing was perfect. Unfortunately for me, the box it was shipped in got a little smooshed so the adapter had shattered. But from the shards, i was able to tell quite a lot about its good quality. And when i glued it back together i could tell the dimensions were spot on. And thanks to the shattering, i can tell it is definitely borosilicate. Its a good price for a good bit of kit. If you can save your receipt and check it within the return period, I would definitely recommend buying this. For my part, my next step will be to see if there is a way of salvaging it or buying another.

The grinds on this fit my 24/40 gear perfectly. My only complaint is there is a weird little bit of...something...imbedded in the wall of the tubing...some bit of dirt or contamination during the manufacturing process. It's only a tiny thing but originally I started out trying to clean it off then when I was like "Why is this not coming off?" and examining it more closely, found it to be actually IN the (outside) surface of the glass itself. So, not a perfect piece, by any stretch, but it shouldn't inhibit the functionality of it in any way, shape or form, and is probably a total fluke. It's just annoying to look at. I still recommend it.
