The price was on par with the other online store that sells this dampener. It's difficult to beat Amazon's shipping speed, though. It performed as the description described. I am very happy with this product for my "69 Bug.

Perfect fit for my 65 Type 1. Note, the threads on the OEM part are finer than the new part. You may need to find a nut. It made a huge difference in the handling.
