arrived missing some screws to bold head on....seemed repackaged. works fine after i collected the required parts. probably received someone's display model or something.

Couldn’t get the saw to start. Took it to a dealership and parts inside the saw were cracked and some missing. Cost was covered mostly under warranty.

It doesn't have quite the reach of my battery operated pole saw, which takes forever to cut through a limb. This puppy cuts good sized limbs in seconds. Well worth the money.

This model is non-telescoping and the pole section is fairly rigid. We added the Echo #99946400010 3 foot power extension to the PPF-225 to get to ~10 1/2 feet length. Echo equipment is high quality and durable but difficult to acquire at any discounted sale prices. We opted for the PPF-225 and added the 3 foot extension to economically get to ~10 1/2 foot length. The 10 inch chain bar head is a bit lighter than the 12 inch bar, making handling the pole saw a bit easier.We've had good performance from Echo 2-stroke equipment (blowers, chain saws, etc.) over the years. Use a sharp chain, keep the chain/bar oil topped off, and use the specified 50:1 fuel mix, or to be super-safe, 40:1 but you'll get a bit more smoke. We use non-ethanol fuel in our power equipment.
