Operation is by keypad on the exterior and by thumb-turn on the interior. It is completely mechanical as there is no power required to operate it which means it is highly efficient for installation outdoors. The latchbolt projects up to 15mm into the keep thereby increasing security and more tolerance. Supplied with keep box for extra security.

I recently installed a side wooden gate and I wanted an easy to install gate lock that did not need a battery. I found this UK gate lock and it really did the trick. Only down size was the extra cost for shipping. It works as promised and they have lots of videos to explain how to install it. I will purchase another one when I build another gate on the other side of the house.
