First of, this is a nice-looking bag. It’s not “designer” high-end by any means, but it sure does look premium on a first glance. It’s meant to be used to carry or store records while offering protection, and on that front, I think that it delivers even if it’s not perfect.Pros :- Stitching quality is great. This should last a long time unless it gets tossed around (and considering most people are buying it to protect records while carrying them around, it's unlikely to happen).- Looks nice enough, at least, to me.- Can store over 50 records. This should be sufficient for a lot of people.Cons :- The strap quality does feel a little bit subpar compared to the rest of the bag. The metal used is thin and the strap itself doesn't feel premium at all. For a 86 Canadian dollars bag, I expect better.- The Velcro on the inside: While it's a nice idea to give the customer the choice of using a separator/spacer, using Velcro to secure said spacers adds the slight possibility of scratching your jackets’ sides. If you carry them around often, you might want to put something on the Velcro to prevent them from scratching your jackets or use outer sleeves to protect them.- The spacers: it's only useful if your bag is full. They’re not solid enough to hold the records by themselves. As such, you can’t simply load 20 or 30 records and call it a day. The sheer weight of the records could push the spacers, rip the Velcro and your records will now be hanging diagonally instead of vertically.- The outer shell should be harder to really protect the “precious” content. As the outer shell is still a little bit on the soft side, it can be crumpled slightly, which could in turn hit your precious jackets’ side. I think that it could happen even while carrying it around using either the strap or handles. Now, it's very far from a bad product. By adding some thin foam layers on either side of the interior to mask the Velcro and to act as extra padding, the risk of damaging your records is reduced significantly as there won't be any "rough" or hard surface inside to damage them.Obviously, if your jackets are as damaged as mine, you might not care too much about it, but if you have some new or rare records, you might want to either slightly modify this bag, use outer sleeves, or look elsewhere.

Who could have imagined that in 2023 a company would be manufacturing a carry bag for vinyl records. But with the increased interest in vintage vinyl and labels releasing new vinyl there is obviously a need for such an item. Saw this carry bag on Amazon and thought that it would be a good place to store my vinyl so I grabbed one.Upon opening the bag that this item came in you you are presented with a heavy duty, well designed, well constructed vinyl record carrying bag. The interior of the bag has two adjustable dividers that are held in place by the velcro on each side of the interior of the bag. On the front of the bag there are two zippered pockets and on each side an open slide in pocket. On the interior lid there is a zippered mesh pocket. The zippers are nice and beefy and slide easily. There is an adjustable detachable shoulder strap and carry handles. The bag is very well padded on all side and provides excellent protection for your precious vinyl.I got this bag to store part of my vinyl collection. Milk crates are ok but they don't protect your vinyl from dust and bangs and if you want to move them it takes some effort. I have put my more valuable records in this bag. The listing claims that the bag holds 60 records. Presently I might have about 35-40 records in my bag and there is definitely room for a bunch more. I most likely won't be using it to transport my vinyl to other locations and this bag will just be for at home storage. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of this bag and the protection it offers for my vinyl.Priced at $86.88 at the time of this review.

This is basically a really nice insulated lunch bag - sized for LPs. If you set it down half full of records, it wants to fall over. The records slide around against each other and if you drop the bag, bad stuff is still gonna happen. That said, it's still a pretty handy way to transport a stack of records if they're going to be carried with care and they're everyday "players", not anything rare or valuable. Every so often, I'll go to a friend's house with a stack of records to play. This is great to take with me on the front seat of my truck. Now if I was a DJ, carrying records with a lot of other equipment getting banged around, this bag would NOT offer much protection, and I might prefer a hard case. I have a few LP road cases that I use for storage and they're great, but they're pretty heavy and cumbersome. However you use the bag, it's pretty well made and has good padding, just no rigid support. I will use it for records in situations where I wouldn't worry much about them getting damaged, or it would be great for going to record sales! Also a great general purpose bag if I want to carry other stuff with, or instead of, records.

I am way too excited over this record bag because it’s just that awesome! This bag measures at 13 x 12 x 3 inches and is made of OXFORD material with polyester mesh on the inside. This bag has great pockets….there is one big pocket in the front that can hold your record cleaning supplies and your record players cord and on the back there is a stretchy polyester strap that can fit over your suitcase handle for travel. This record bag is so nice and they thought of everything. I especially like the crossover strap that is detachable and I like the handle that velcro’s together and it’s all very strong! Also what I like about this cool record bag is that on the inside it is bright green and has detachable dividers. I was able to fit 26 albums 12” with dividers in and all of my albums have sleeves and are mostly doubles which decreased the volume of albums by a lot. ! I think this is a great price for such a versatile nice record bag. I will happily give this record bag five stars because I just love it!

Took a chance on this and while it does exactly what it sets out to do I just don't really like the way it does it.The space is excellent. This is a big bag.I love the shoulder strap but because it's not a hard-shelled case your records run the risk of the jackets being crimped in some capacity. The adjustable dividers are cool but the downside is your records constantly scraping against velcro if your bag isn't full. The records are taller than the bag is when the bag is opened and only fully cover the records with the top on and zipped up. The extra pockets are awesome though and can store a good deal of accessories. Overall its definitely not the worst but it just wasn't what I was expecting and I think i'd rather pay the extra for a hard-shelled travel case.

Like some other reviewers, I got the GearIT Vinyl Record Carrying Bag not to carry records. I figured that since it is designed to hold 12” records in sleeves that it would be perfect for transporting coiled-up cables. In my work, I often have to carry several long Ethernet cables and SDI video cables. These cables are delicate and expensive so I was looking for a way to transport them that will protect their connectors and keep them nicely coiled. This bag with its removable dividers is perfect for that purpose and my cables have never been safer or more organized.I must say, for the price I was expecting a much more rigid exterior to the bag, and more protective padding overall. This is a soft walled bag with only thin padding.

I collect vinyl record albums and have a modest collection of ~ 900 LPs. The past few years have found me buying more and more since I am now retired and have the time to travel to record shops within an hour or two drive. Most places will offer you either a flimsy paper or plastic bag for your albums. Even with only one or two records that affords little protection for your new acquisitions. I used to take one of my fabric record tote bags purchased from shops I had frequented. When one of the handles broke loaded with seven albums I decided to look for something better. And I found it on this carrier! It is substantial, capable of fitting all but my biggest buying binges. More importantly, it is strong and extremely well padded to protect your new albums. The handles are strongly attached as I yanked on them to be sure they could handle a heavy load. I keep this in my car trunk for those unexpected record store discoveries and given the popularity of vinyl records more and more stores are opening. Love this bag, wish I had found it years ago. Highly recommended!

This Carrying Bag for 60 12" LP Albums has a number of features that initially caught my eye. It comes with internal adjustable dividers, which are great for sorting and organizing your albums. The multiple pockets and compartments for additional accessories like headphones, adapters, or cleaning kits are also a nice touch. However, there are some drawbacks. The most glaring issue is the price. At $86.88, one would expect a bag that offers a solid amount of protection for your albums, especially given their often delicate nature. Unfortunately, this is a soft wall bag that doesn't provide the level of protection that you'd expect at this price point. So, if you're in need of a carrying bag and require something with sturdy, protective walls, you might want to look elsewhere. While it has some good features, the price doesn't quite align with what's being offered.
