Fits good on my 2004 Yamaha V Star 650 Classic. It stays in place once you completely sit down on it, but when not sitting on it you can move it around by hand easily and getting on your motorcycle it is easy to bump it and move it off center. Construction and material seem good with a few exception, The anti slip material on the bottom is small and doesn’t cover the entire bottom, and if the straps were heavier and had more adjustment maybe I could get it to stay in place better. Good thing my motorcycle has a low seat height so once I’m straddling it I can stand and center the pad before sitting down. A miner inconvenience, other than that I’m glad I got it(no more numb butt). I don’t take long road trips so I can’t answer for that, but for around town and 50-60 mile drives it’s definitely a major improvement. UPDATE; I finally got it to stay in place better. I removed the seat and the Gel Pad and adjusted as much slack as I could out of the straps then I tied a knot in the center of the straps. This helped lot. These are not waterproof, but the plus is when your motorcycle has been sitting in the sun for a while, you are not getting on a HOT SEAT. Before buying this Gel Pad I was contemplating getting a new rear shock, but now that I’ve been riding with this Gel Pad the bumps are so much softer I don’t feel I need new shocks.

This seat cushion was bought for our trike and it works great, this seat cushion was first used in his living room chair to try it out. The size is perfect and it’s thickness is just what my husband needed for his comfort on a long ride. I recommend it to anyone.

Picked this up as an alternative to an Air Hawk seat cushion; the air hawk had a tendency to get bunched up in the front, regardless of how much air was in it.I rode 2000 miles in 3 days on this gel cushion, then the next weekend did another 2000 miles in another 3 days. It was worth every penny to reduce the butt ache!

This gel and memory foam pad is the most comfortable motorcycle seat cushion I've found. I've tried several others, such as inflatable air/water, foam, and gel pads, but they either caused hot spots, high spots or bottomed out on the seat without providing any cushioning. This one provides firm support and comfortable cushioning across the entire seat without adding excessive height. It's a great product.Also, kudos to Sturgis Midwest for their awesome customer service. After I was sent the wrong size cushion and asked for a refund, they apologized, explained what happened and offered to either refund my money or to send me the correct size pad and issue a partial refund for my inconvenience. I opted for exchange and received the correct pad the day after I accepted their offer.

I gave this three stars because it is a nice product. It is comfortable for around town and to keep my leather seat from getting hot. However, I just finished doing an approximate 200 mile round trip ride. Luckily we stopped for an hour at the halfway point before returning. for the road test - at 80 miles I was needing to shift around, and nothing I did made it any more comfortable. It felt like the seam was digging into the back of my butt. By 100 I was ready to get off. I am disappointed that it is smaller than my motorcycle seat, which I was told (by the seller) this is normal. The cushion was no better, or no worse, than my motorcycle seat.
