Approximate age is 5.6 million years old (Miocene epoch). The tooth is completely natural and unique with regard to coloration, shape, size, and gloss. Other than a cleaning of the marine growth, there has been absolutely nothing done to the specimen. The pictures attempt to capture every detail of the fossil, but they are honestly more impressive in person. All measurements are exact and have been taken using a digital caliper.
