I am a potter and I find pulling handles to be a PIA. I was very excited about these. Sadly, they are junk, the metal is super flimsy! It's as thin as those el cheapo aluminum foil cookie sheets you get at the dollar store. After one pass in medium soft clay they get all wonky/misshapen. Would not recommend and would not buy again.

My only comment: all my fellow (amateur) potters all using them.

They work best if your clay is a little on the dry end. If it is too moist it is hard to remove the handles. Good thickness for mugs

I have only used it a couple times but this set is easy to use. I really like them. They're great for a beginner.

I make production mugs for shows and I hoped for a nice tool to cut quick handles so I ordered this. The handle is a simple rectangular handle with an angled end. The tool itself is cut sheet metal and I like the simplicity of the construction of the cutting head. Overall it cuts pretty well and doesn't clog much.But...cutting a lot at a time, it gets uncomfortable quickly. I really don't like design it cuts and the feel of the handle whether its rotated inward or outward. Also, clearly its going to take a learning curve to use this type of tool for handles. Some of this obviously is my issue, but after testing it I found that I didn't really want to pick it up and try...
