This tills the soil very well. Do not simply back up on a log as the plow can snag on the part of the log between the wheels when you drive off, and is a pain to disentangle! After having fun tearing up the ground fill your lawn spreader with seed and apply it like you do on your grass. I use my rotary Scotts spreader. I then use it as an excuse to get away from the wife to go back up several times to fertilize with by buddy and drink beer! It gets you out of yard work at home if you give the grandkids ten bucks to do it for ya. It makes Grammy look at me like a hero when I get back all scratched up and tell her I had to wrassle two wolves, a bear, and a Massuaga rattler just to feed the family when deer hunting!

I found the install very easy to follow and only took a few mins. I did watch videos on the Groundhog site which helped in the overview. As for use, it works great on my FL soil. It seems to cut through everything with the exception of pine needles. Making lots of turns / figure 8's really helps the cutting.

My wife bought me the Groundhog Max with the installation kit. I have a 2014 Polaris sportsman 550 with a 1 1/2 receiver hitch. No problem I am told this plow comes with a universal 2 inch conversion kit. Well guess what? It doesn’t work at all on my ATV. I called Groundhog support and the man told me that their kit works on all atvs. I tried installing the kit like he said (See photos below) as you can see there is nowhere to attach the end of the bar. He told me to drill a hole in the plastic and find something to clamp it to using a hose clamp. I looked around and there was nothing solid to do that. So I sent him photos of my problem and of course he more or less blew me off.He said call me if there is a problem. I did and I got a talk on how to use the plow..REALLY?So what I did next was purchase a 1/1/2 to 2 inch hitch converter. I thought cool, now I can plow my food plot. WRONG. I get out to my hunting property and get the plow on with this converter that I found for sale on their web page and as you can see in the photo it bent it after a couple of passes on my food plot. So next I try buying a 2 inch hitch replacement. I get that and it doesn’t fit my ATV at all. So now I am out 375 bucks for the Groundhog max plow, 50 bucks for the hitch converter and 75 bucks for the hitch replacement. I finally called it quits and took my tiller to my hunting property and plowed my food plot with that. So now I am stuck with a Groundhog max plow that is worthless and I am out over 400 bucks. My advice to anyone considering the Groundhog Max plow. Save your money on this one. It is a big joke.

Implement doesn't fit into a standard two inch receiver. Nor will it fit into a one point hitch. Does not work on harder ground. Los of money, not much performance.

I was actually very surprised at how well this works. My food plots are much bigger thanks to the groundhog. Wish I would have bought this long ago. Very easy to set up. In just a few minutes you can be up and running. My only complaint is the width. Wish it was wider

The ATV Disc Plow was just what I need for food plots. Easy to use and does a good job breaking up small plots.
