I have ordered a few tennis outfits for regular casual wear for my two nieces and I ordered the Sodlon blue set for a tall 10 yr old. I sized up to the size 11/12 because some of these sets have been narrow and fitted in the top but I should have stuck with size matching age because unfortunately the 11/12 was a little big.The design and style of this tennis skirt set is really cute, the blue color is a little muted, it’s not as colorful as the photo online. The top is ruched on the sides and it has a lined, built in bra with pads. The top is fitted so preteen girls may like the bra padding but they are removable if not needed.The skirt has a wide waistband and a somewhat fuller flowy pleated skirt with attached shorts. The shorts have pockets for those girls who play tennis. My nieces love these tennis skirts for regular casual wear because they don’t have to add shorts under the skirt which they usually do with their all their other skirts and dresses, after all how do you do cartwheels and back bends in a dress if you don’t have gym shorts underneath?.This set is well constructed, the seams and hems are nicely sewn and even. The fabric is spandex and a material called terylene which is soft and stretchy. My niece said this outfit is very comfortable but she thought the skirt was a little too much with the bigger pleats. Personally, I like a little straighter skirt on her as well, this one hung a little funny with the fuller skirt, maybe because she is thinner.The price point of approximately $25 is reasonable for the two pieces and the good quality. There is no size chart so I would suggest matching the size to the age if the girl is normal size. This was a little big for a tall slim 10 year old but who knows what size she will be in a month or two.
