As an avid bowler and long time hammer fan I was as usual not let down. The towel isn’t too rigid upon opening and breaks in fast. If you bowl you know how important it is to remove the previous shots oil before your next approach. If you bowl on league’s you don’t want to be that person taking forever to clean your ball. Buy this and you will be happy.

I love this shammy. I bought it to replace the storm one I had and managed to lose. It pulls the oil right off my ball. A big part of why this is so effective for me is it helps slow down my timing. Cleaning the ball keeps the performance consistent and the extra time it takes me give me better timing and helps prevent rushing. Bonus points because it matches my ball. The worst thing about it it is it has a weird chemical smell, I've been using it for 2 months now and can't quite shake the smell.

Cleans ball better than expected..I use this throughout my round and then wipe each ball off before I put it away after the round.I was shocked when I actually then use the cleaner on my ball and the towel was pretty much clean. The chamois does a really good job of taking off a surface oil very pleased would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

I definitely prefer these squares to a towel or lighter chamois. Hammer's square isn't "better" than the others. I'm just a bit of a Hammer fan-boy.You can very likely get cheaper, off-brand ones pretty easily at your local Pro Shop. Functionally, they're just as good.

I find that after a few game the ball loses tack and when it does it become erratic. Tack is required to stabilize the ball on the lane from my experience. Using other tacks require spraying on Microfiber cloth. The Shammy is quick and efficient. I'm happy, it's in my bag of tricks to be productive when time is constrained. Product absolutely work to remove oil from the ball and tack the ball at the same time. Love it!

I have been bowling in men's leagues for over 20 years. I have always had a towel. First a terrycloth style for years, then a micro fiber style. After leaving my micro fiber towel at the alley one evening and not finding it the following week, I decided to purchase this leather Hammer product. I didn't know this style existed. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. My old micro fiber towel was nice, and although it removed some oil, it also spread and smeared the oil without fully removing it. I thought this was the best to be done. I was wrong. This Hammer leather suade towel wipes the oil away and leaves my balls close to pre-game spray cleaner conditions in between each and every frame. Fully recommend to anyone who methodically wipes ball each time up to bowl.

This does a much better job at removing oil off your ball in between shots than a regular or microfiber towel. It doesn't just smear the oil around but actually lifts it off the ball cleanly. For the purpose it is well worth purchasing. I wash the shammy every other week or so, soaking it in dish soap to pull the oil out and running it through the washing machine and drying on low heat...I've done this half a dozen times or so and the shammy holds up pretty well. Just be warned that the Hammer logo will wear off quickly from washing and the orange dye will stain anything you wash with it so run it by itself.
