This auto Ignition Probe is a kind of inductive capacitor probe, which should be used in conjunction with oscilloscopes.
Test Lead has three ends, one BNC end for connecting oscilloscopes, one clip end for grounding connection. One pickup clip end for connecting the high voltage Leads (Pickup clip end is connected with an attenuator, used to attenuate the picked high-pressure to low pressure, thus protecting oscilloscope not electrify impact ).
It can be used to test a spark ignition secondary overlapping wave, overlapping waves parameters, thus achieved detection and diagnosis of engine ignition position, make each cylinder ignition voltage changing with time directly from the oscilloscope display.
This oscilloscope test lead is 2.5 Meters in Length, the decay of up to 10,000:1
IMPORTANT NOTES when use:
(1) Test clips shall not directly clip in spark plug, should be caught in the connection of the spark plugs of insulation wire, in order to prevent the breakdown and causing a shock.
(2) To distance other high-voltage at least 2 inches apart, lest produce interference.
