Overall, this case is a winner. Seems well made of good materials and is sturdy, secure and weather tight.Handle feels great made of a firm rubbery material and is sized perfectly for me. Very comfortable to carry. There’s foam inserts top and bottom. Between those inserts are 2 “pick and pluck” foam pads, each 1.5” thick. Pick and pluck means the pad is pre-scored (i.e. semi cut) cubes where you pick which cubes to pluck out. Cubes are 0.5” square for the 1.5” thickness. That’s a good size for most things and is smaller than other pick and pluck cases I have. The foam is more dense than my others too, so it’s an A+ on foam.A full size pistol fits within the thickness of 1 pick and pluck pad. I suppose both pads would need to be plucked for a revolver. There were no instructions received with the case. Instructions for a case? Well, I’m thinking a person with no experience with this type of case doesn’t know about the pressure release valve. I couldn’t open the case until I unscrewed the manual pressure release valve to equalize the pressure inside the case with my house. Wherever it was made and packed up must have been at a much higher altitude than where I’m at. This indicates that indeed, the case is air and weather tight.I think the case is plenty strong but the top and bottom does have bit more deflection than my other cases. My guess is it’s not the general thickness of the plastic, but that it doesn’t have reinforced ribs like my others (i.e. thicker strips of the plastic here and there to provide extra rigidity). Again, it’s way more than strong enough for me because I don’t expect a semi-truck to roll over it.Inchoi doesn’t say anything about being TSA compliant for air travel with firearms like some manufacturers do. It certainly meets all the TSA rules and so is compliant in my opinion. There is no certification done by the TSA, so when a company says their cases are TSA compliant, that’s just their interpretation of the TSA rules, not a TSA blessing. Basically, the rules are, hard sided, robust and locked. One of my other cases has metal reinforcement around the lock holes. I place no value on that.

These cases are incredible. First the value. The value for something this nice compared to a pelican or a gator case is un matched. The top is a standard thick eggshell pattern and then the bottom is a double layeer customizable foam pad. So you can make it double layer or single deep. Its up to you. Then there is the latch system that I love. Its a double latching system that requires a push button before flipping up the latches. These things require a bit of force which is a good thing as you wouldnt want this nice of a case to carry something that can easily open and spill out. The handle is a contoured rubberized grip that feels good in the hand and as the case picks up weight wont cut into your hands. I plan on using this for firearm transport. I have them take about 6 foot drop already and has not yet seen any damage to the case or its contents. So time will tell but as of right now. Its telling me its a awesome case for a good deal.

I am so in love with this product. I could never really afford a hard case for my guns. This one is perfect for my needs. I currently have a gun with two magazines in the top layer and 5 30 round magazines on the bottom layer. It is perfect for taking to the range.I do have one complaint, which for some, may actually be a good thing.. The foam is pre-cut (not all the way obviously) so you can create your forms without an Exacto-knife. The problem with that is if you want to make your.. holes.. to close to each other, it weakens the walls between the holes and the walls will just.. fall apart at the pre-cuts.I'd prefer a stiffer foam and no pre-cutting.

This storage case feels just as heavy duty as the name brand cases. The handle is comfortable to hold on to and to carry. The latches are pretty easy to open which may mean they will not hold up as well as the name brand latches do. That may become an issue in the future; however, they work just fine now. The foam is dense and pre-cut for easy removal. Overall, this is a really nice storage case and it's hard to beat for the price.

We all know about the expensive name brand cases that are the standard for this type of box, and are much more expensive. Before I put something in here that I want to keep protected, I decided to check how waterproof the box was. I took the cushioning out and put about 50 pounds of lead weights into it. I then took it to the pool and put it in the shallow end in about 4 feet under. About a half hour later I pulled it out, opened it up and there was absolutely no water intrusion into it. So it passed that test. The latches are a little bit easier to use than the name brand. While easier, they may be a weak link. Instead of having to use a lot of force on a clasp type latch, these have a button in the center that you push and then open the hatch. It's easier to use, but since I have no idea how it's made I don't know how it will hold up. I doubt it will be an issue for most people. If anything since it's easier to use most people will probably prefer it.The bottom line is that is not the name brand box, but for the 99% of us that don't really take our stuff to the Amazon during a monsoon or anything like that, I think these will work just fine for a fraction of the cost.

Plain and simple...this is a great case for storing firearms. It easily fits at least two pistols, and you could probably layer more in as the foam is very accommodating.I like the extra push button on the latches to keep things closed and where they belong. It comes with multiple layers of foam; outside layers have an egg crate pattern, and the inner layers are perforated to allow them to compress around your firearms and keep everything secure. If you're looking for a great case to tote a few guns to the firing range, this is what you need.I highly recommend this product.
