Give the brand new bearings a day or two to break in, then you will be astounded at how easy it is to open and close the sliding glass door.For those that have stripped the screw heads, this is due to using a Phillips screwdriver and not a square drive bit.Screws were very, very tight right out of the box.Once I loosened all the hardware and got the wheels to their lowest setting I was able to wedge them in the door.I screwed them in and reseated the door on the track.I then raised the door to the appropriate height.I found the door stiff to open and close, which was disappointing.Within 24 hours the door got progressively better and by day two it performs better then it was new.The most significant difference is the door is whisper quiet due to the vinyl rollers.Well worth the time and effort for this upgrade.

Door now rolls smooth and quiet, but does not roll easier than old worn old rollers. I sent messages to the company with one reply asking about it. I told them I would not rate until I heard back and nothing.

The hardware screws are made of soft alloy material. I you're going to have cheap screws, at least don't screw them on as if they have locktite on em. I took down my door and was already in the process of installation so I will just use my own screws, that didn't fit perfect.I don't recommend these.

I typically don't leave reviews on Amazon; however, I just installed these rollers today on a triple pane sliding glass door, and the difference is unbelievable! Prior to ordering these rollers, I had taken out the door, cleaned, and lubricated the old metal rollers. I replaced the door, and it was actually worse than before. That led me to look for new rollers. The difference in how easy the door opens now is truly unbelievable. This is an exceptional product.
