I ordered these cute little ruffle shorts in 11-12 for my daughter to wear to dance. She is almost 11 years old and they just barely fit. If you are in between sizes, I would say they run a little small. They are very stretchy, great for gymnastics or dance and even have a little pocket in the back of the waistband.

Super cute! Daughter loves them! My daughter is a very slim 9 year old so I ordered the 7-8 and they fit perfect! Would definitely recommend!!

These are so crazy cute. They seem well made and flattering on. Fairly true to size, but maybe size up if your child is in between sizes because they are a tight fit given they are an athletic short. I regret getting the white ones and not the black or a darker color because they are ever so slightly see through. If we were using the shorts for gymnastics or some activity that required her to wear a leotard, the see through aspect wouldn’t bother me. We got them for everyday use though. They can be used for under her summer dresses and I would love to get other colors.

The HASMES Girls Dance Athletic Ruffle Shorts are a nylon, spandex athletic short. The color is a pretty blue. The fabric is stretchy and feels as expected for this nylon, spandex combination. The sewing seems okay but there are some threads that look like they could easily come loose with wearing and washing. My granddaughter likes and wears them and we are hopeful they will last.

These little shorts arrived in such a vibrant shade of pink! They're like a burst of joyful energy. Love the ruffled hem- works well on their own or under a dress. Kiddo loved them and wanted to "live in them." May run a little short for some but for me, I'll just have her wear them under a dress instead of on their own. Quality is nice- not too tight or thick, easy breezy and cool.
