Product was a perfect match for the Hayward H200FDN.. the sensor with the cord attached was the one I used.. the other sensor does get thrown away.. item did not resolve my issue but it was obvious the old sensor was eventually going to have issues.. my IF error code was resolved by cleaning the orifices.. 2/4 were clogged with spider webs. I recommend checking the orifices before purchasing the flame sensor since they are easy to access and clean and free..

This sensor completely address the turn off and turn on issues I was having with my hayward heater. It replaced the old sensor perfectly and was easy to install. Took all but 10 minutes to install. Would recommend it for any flame sensor type issues you are having.

If you're getting an IF (ignition failure) error, get this. It's an easy replacement and totally worth a try before making an expensive service call. Easy fix even for a novice.

dropped it into our 11 year old hayward H400IDL pool heater and it worked perfectly. easy to install, and it included a new set of screws (which we actually needed, so that was nice). interestingly, we were sent TWO non-identical parts; i'm not sure if it was a mistake on amazon's part or if this was some kind of package (the picture shows two sensors), but we only have use for the 'correct' part.
