We purchased this to provide shelter to a stray/feral cat last winter. It is of great quality, assembles easily, and is the perfect size for an adult cat or two. The heater provides two different settings for various outdoor temps. It's lightweight and does not take up much room so we'll store it in our attic until next winter. Highly recommend!

I purchased these for a few strays in my neighborhood. There were no assembly instructions in the package but I received an email with instructions on how to use the heating pad so I blindly assembled which took about 30 min for 2 of them. It wasn’t difficult to put together and the boxes stayed warm through high 20s. I just wish the entrance was bigger and it would be helpful to have an exit as I know cats feel more comfortable with an additional opening. All in all definitely worth the money.

We have a 75% outdoor cat who spends most of her time outside and often sleeps out there, even in cold temperatures (despite trying to get her to come in), so we’ve had a few different outdoor cat houses for her to take refuge in. This is definitely the nicest one we’ve had so far. The material feels really durable and weatherproof, love that it’s raised, heated, and big! Definitely an upgrade for our girl, so glad we got this.

While assembly wasn't difficult, the measurements of something in my order was off. Either the poles provided were too long or the fabric material I received was much too small. This made it quite useless since I was unable to Velcro any of the edges down to make the actual house. Company never emailed me back with a solution after I emailed them a photo and explained the issue.

There are no written instructions to put it together, and the YouTube video is of very poor quality with no audio. So you just have to figure it out for yourself. Not helpful at all.

This is an EASY 5 star YES for us.EASY setup (there’s a YouTube video, as well as an attached video in the product description section) that’s a breeze to follow.Very well made canvas, the stitching seems sturdy, and it will hopefully “weather” well under our covered porch. The reflective insulation excellent.Additional cover for the heating pad a plus. The protective cover/velcro flap for the cord a nice touch. It gives a little more peace of mind as I think of our “Tee-tee-kitty” during the winter months.Living in a rural mountain town with winters DAYS peaking in the -20’s is difficult for the bipedals (2 legged) bundled to the hilt, but the poor quadrupeds (4 legged) strays and abandoned “beasts” fare a lot worse. Our “rescued/abandonded” cat seems to have taken to this house quite well.We put it by the front porch, plugged it in, and she’s been inside for a couple of hours now.I do hope she takes to this better than the outbuildings or garage. Its ability to retain and reflect heat is quite nice.I do hope she chooses this as her “go-to” away from the other locals and strays. There’s always a fight for territory and food… it seems a nice & warm little “safe-house.”Makes me happy.A personal rant -Sadly many people “drop off” their unwanted dogs and cats in the country thinking … “Aaww, what better place to leave a cat or dog - it’s a farm, a back road … they’ll gladly take this little guy/girl in and love them right?” … Wrong! These poor creatures usually starve for lack of food, they’ll freeze in the winter, oftentimes they’re mauled or eaten by another animal, and many times they’re shot to death because they become a threat to livestock and other animals with hunger/disease and a plethora of other factors. For us, the cat we now care for was dumped on our property as a kitten and left to fend for herself.Thankfully we found her (though half starved), and were able to nurse her to health. We had her sterilized to prevent more strays and unwanted animals.Personal Note * Man/Woman-up, be responsible for the creatures you choose in the beginning. If you’re not able to care for them and can’t re-home; at least take the animal to the pound or even better, a no-kill shelter.Being euthanized instead of a tormented tragic death is the most humane thing you could do.Be kind!
