It is made of high tensile cast iron properly seasoned against distortion and accurately machined to .002 per 6". The plate is square and parallel on all faces and Slot A is 90° to slot C. 1-2-3 precision matched pair block set is heat treated and case hardened to HRC 55 to 60. They are also hardened and precision ground on all 6 sides of each block. The 1-2-3 blocks accuracy with squareness on all sides within .0002" per inch. There are 23 holes consisting of 5 tapped holes that are 3/8"-16 for clamping and 18 untapped holes. These blocks have a cross drilling design gives minimum weight and maximum strength.
