Beautiful, high quality and sturdy T- Astragal. Keeps the elements out and was easy to install as it fit my front double doors perfectly. Customer service is excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. The cost was very reasonable and I could not be happier with this purchase!

My Comfortable House is 23 years old. As you might expect, lots of things can wear out due to heavy use during such a period. The original Astragal (who even knows that word?) had broken in both places where the slider meets the pull-down extended lock. I had to use pliers to pull down and up on the metal parts still attached to the extenders.I had no idea even how to search for an online replacement product. And I failed, even after a trip to a big-box warehouse (where they said they don't make "them" anymore.) (No, they didn't know either that there even was a word Astragal!)My handyman found the Amazon link. What a find! I needed the 96-inch French Patio Door variant. Ordering was easy. Delivery super fast! And an online video showed me how to do the installation. Easy! (Truth -- I assisted my handyman...) Hint: take the door off its hinges to attach the product most easily.It is now installed and working perfectly. A great product. A great result. I even had two calls to the Lifetime Products people verifying shipping/delivery and they helped me avoid purchase of the too-small 80-inch variant. Both interactions were the best!Here's a picture to inspire you. It can be done... and it will work!

Piece was completely destroyed by car hitting double metal doors. This worked perfectly. Had to trim 2 inches from the top using a reciprocal saw. Rubber cap covered the cut. It was easy to replace and I saved thousands of dollars by not having to replace the doors. Even looks great!

Replaced wood T-astragal on french doors. Wood was actually rotting on the T-astragal even though it is was a very expensive leaded glass external door set that had been properly maintained (and had been installed less than 5 years ago). Decided to replace with the metal T-astragal and are very pleased with the product. The locks are much better than what was on the original door, the color is a good match & best of all, it won't rot. Also, quick delivery & service. Thank you.
