Very well made! Wished it was a bit thicker though. If you have a horse with a round back it is perfect.

NO LIFT OR SPACE AT WITHERS. TOO TIGHT. NEEDS A RE-DESIGN. COMFORTABLE FOR RIDER THOUGH.

I was skeptical when I ordered this because it seemed a little pricey for a bareback pad. But it is the most comfortable pad ever and sits you in such a good spot. My horse likes it as well. I wish I had purchased this years ago!

Not at all what I thought it would be. It is very stiff, not sure if I want to use it. I should have ordered one like my old bareback pad.

Bought for my boys birthday because he wants to ride my English trained horse Western. This is our first bareback pad. I ordered 2 different types & he chose this one. It's much thicker & more substantial than the other & works perfectly with the dressage girth we already had. Suede is great for stick factor, he says he really likes the sides as it helps keep your leg in place. It's very stiff so we've used a Western wool saddle pad under as I don't want the rear edge rubbing my horse's lumbar and don't want the front pushing on his wither. Hoping it starts to curve a bit to his back so we don't need a pad under it.

There is nothing I don’t like about this pad. It is amazing. You never want to ride a saddle again!

This bareback pad is amazing! Some folks have said its to big but its not really. Its perfect for keeping you and most of your leg clean..aka no bareback dirty legged jeans/breeches. The seat is not only cushioning but supportive in that its not mushy feeling, it also grips jeans, leggings, breeches and bare skinlegs well. I wouldnt think twice about buying another one of these but I doubt ill have to its so well made. FYI an aussie saddle pad fits it perfectly, I use a thin tacky aussie pad, a aussie saddle cloth over that then I put the bareback pad on....why you ask? this pad has a tacky bottom, its open and hair and dirt can get into the pad with no way of getting it out. I wanted the tacky for the grip but I didnt want to ruin my new bareback pad with sweat n grime, hence the layers, this lets me have a tacky pad with a dirt stopping layer sandwiched between. This way my bareback pad should last a very very long time.
