My Hitachi miter saw linear bearings were in terrible condition. The right slide was very sticky and would catch when trying to slide it. I have several miter saws and I wasn't sure if I should just toss this saw. However I decided to go through the saw and fine tune everything and replace the two right side bearings with these from Amazon. I removed the old bearings and some of the balls were actually cracked in half and/or just fell out. It was easy to see why the slide didn't work. I cleaned both slides with WD40 and a wire brush wheel on my bench grinder to remove some rust from the slides. I ordered two new bearings, installed them and now it's working great. I was originally hesitant but now I'm very happy that I didn't toss it.
