I've used four sets of paddles on my snow thrower. The original set, one considered less costly, and two more genuine Honda parts. The second set "looked" great new, but wore out too fast. Compared with the original paddles the "good buy" set did not perform as well or as long. The paddles thickness does make a difference.

I wouldn't attempt to use anything but Honda OEM on a Honda machine. Everything lined up perfect once installed. I used my original hardware since I treated it with penetrating oil while I was waiting for shipment.

Fit perfectly and snow was thrown a good 20 feet farther with the paddles replaced. Like having a new snow blower again. Also no more clogging in the chute.
