We purchased this set of whisper phones after my second grader’s teacher recommended it. While reading itself isn’t a problem for him, comprehension has been a challenge—and these have truly helped. When he uses the whisper phone, his understanding of the text noticeably improves.He was excited about it at first and even asked me to get a set for home. Although the novelty eventually wore off and he started to push back a bit, I saw real growth in his comprehension while he was consistently using it.The phones are made of lightweight plastic and work by amplifying a child’s voice when they whisper into one end and hold the other to their ear. This allows them to read aloud quietly without disturbing others. They're not especially durable and could be damaged if stepped on or crushed, but they've held up well in normal use.Overall, I’d definitely recommend this tool to parents and teachers supporting kids who benefit from hearing themselves read. It’s simple, affordable, and effective.

As a first grade teacher, these are an absolute must in the classroom! Not only does it remind students to whisper-read, but it allows them to hear themselves clearly as they read. These are an absolute game changer to incorporate into your Phonics routine!

It’s a great price but the length is very small for a typical kindergarteners ear to mouth. They work tho considering the price. Kids like using them and it helps them hear what they are reading.
