Fits securely and tight. Has built In SPRINGS.. for bumpy rides. When installing the latch that connects to the hood, make sure you tighten the big nut behind the latch with Size 15mm socket, otherwise the spring will be too loose and the hood will not close tight. Don't forget to grease the latch with fifth wheel lube. 🙏🏾👌🏾

I bought this for one of my trucks and installed and got the driver on the road. Next morning driver couldn’t open the hood and had to go to a shop to replace the whole thing from oem part. Shop told my driver that both sides of the latches were faulty and bad quality. I Had to pay more than 300 dollars to replace for this bad quality product. Not happy with this purchase
