No pipe thread adapters to leak, just a simple adapter with bleeder screw. Bleeder screw is a “speed bleeder” design for one person hydraulic clutch bleeding. Make Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding a One Person Job with Our Direct Thread Adapter Hydraulic clutch conversions make manual transmission swaps a breeze in almost any chassis. No longer do you have to attempt to adapt mechanical clutch linkage between the frame and an engine that may not have the mounting boss for said linkage. There’s also the frustration of trying to build some sort of clutch cable erector set between your pedal and clutch fork. Neither of these are a great option. With a hydraulic clutch release bearing a simple hydraulic clutch master cylinder is all it takes to actuate your clutch. You’ll even find popular applications that have a conversion kit with master, firewall adapter, and lines. Some hydraulic release bearings utilize an “in bellhousing” clutch bleeder valve, which depending upon the bellhousing design and application, can be frustrating to access. For these we recommend a length of 4AN stainless brake line to move the clutch bleeder valve outside the bellhousing for easier access. A 12-inch line length is most common, but you may wish to use something a little longer if access warrants it. Some release bearings come with a pipe thread clutch bleeder kit fitting (which can be a source of leaks or overtightened and damaged), while others do not provide a clutch bleeder tool fitting at all. For both scenarios we offer our direct fit clutch bleeder valve adapter with speed bleeder fitting. This clutch bleeder kit is machined from a solid bar of 316 stainless steel and directly threads into any 4AN clutch bleeder valve line
