Bought this for my '99 4.0 v6 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4. Looks great works and works great. I would however recommend a better bracket to the company. I personally think the bracket offered is cheap and does not hold up during engine operation. I will fabricate a better one soon. It's however an easy fix as you can see I used paranoid asking with the bracket and it secured the intake in place perfectly. It's not a big problem and I'm still very happy with this excellent product. I bought an intake not a bracket lol so as far as that goes my engine performance has improved tremendously so I would recommend and buy again. Thank you.

The bracket is sufficient but definitely Bare Bones I didn't bend it I installed it like you see in the picture. Most importantly the filter seems to be of a good quality & I can notice a difference on take off and going up hills. For 52$ id say its money well spent.

Not bad for an inexpensive intake. Got a few more ponies is my engine. What I noticed most is that transmission shifts a lot smoother. Put this into my 2004 Jeep GCL.

I have mine a little rigged. Just received today.The red elbow is very cheap and the red tube is to small for my PVC valve but overall. It improved my MPG by 2 miles and the acceleration is noticeable better. When I get on it, shift point is around 2800-2900 RPM instead of 2500-2600 like before. Filter seems to be made with quality material. Adds a roar when get on it. Overall completely worth it. Especially when running big tires.

Overall I'm happy. The mounting brackets are garbage so be prepared to have some way tonrupport the filter. The 90 degree elbow is one of the cheapest things I've ever seen. Piping is 2.5" but the throttle body neck is 2.25" so thankfully, the elbow does do that job.Definitely beats replacing a broken intake silencer when the stock part costs more than this entire kit.Didn't really notice any horsepower gains but I have gained a couple mpg. And she definitely drives a bit smoother as far as acceleration and just normal cruising goes.Definitely an intake whistle at idle. Normal driving around there isn't a lot of difference in noise level. When you put that skinny pedal to the floor, she will growl so that's kinda nice.
