This is the second one of these I've purchased. The first was a smaller version/voltage. I accidently hit the button when I thumb was in the way and got zapped with the smaller version. It only frightened me, did not hurt me. The bigger one has a better voltage, I have yet to zap myself. but the plug in won't connect with the plug in to charge. I'll have to see if I can find an adapter for a tighter fit.

So fortunately, I haven't had to use it yet but it ,seems to be working holding a charge but like people said the little cord to charge it very short hard to use hard to keep it in like plugged in while you're charging it also don't like how easy it is to tap the button like if you were carrying it on your side you could probably accidentally shock yourself or picking it up I think it maybe should be a little bit different style but for the price and apparently it has good reviews on longevity so far I'm happy with the purchase..

Used 6 times in 3 months... Product already broke.. Pay return time which is ridiculous.. so they build these products basically to last all of 2 months so they get past the return dates and then they break and then you're screwed stuck with an product inferior product..

I started writing the below review ("Pros & Cons"), but then the stun gun part actually broke – the wire leads in the head of the flashlight can fall out. One side fell out once and I was able to put it back in; but then it fell out a second time when I was outside and I could not find it again, now rendering the stun gun feature completely useless.Pros: Light weight, nice size, decent illumination, stun gun seems to work (haven't actually tried it out on anyone yet).Cons: No adjustable beam, switching between low beam, strobe, and high beam seems inefficient to me, switching to stun gun mode is highly inefficient in an emergency (due to the safety features) – if you're going to need to use the stun gun, you pretty much have to be prepared ahead of time, battery does not seem to hold a strong charge very long, charging cord is extremely short (approximately 7").
