The size is small, but perfect for baby and senior jumping spiders. The holes are perfect size, to prevent escapes. It comes fully assembled, with the exception of the knob on the door. I used a phillips head, screw driver, to make sure it wasn't going anywhere. I love that it's sealed! I already bought another one, I'll definitely be back! I'm very surprised, by the quality, especially for the price!

This little habitat is really nice. It is well constructed. It has a large hinged door on the front side that is kept closed by magnets. Very secure. Then on the top there is a small opening so that you can feed or water without fear of releasing your critter. It has tiny air holes on the two sides. They are large enough for good ventilation but small enough so that you can use this habitat for smaller critters.I am excited to set it up and use it. We had a black widow spider that we were able to watch lay egg sacs and hatch babies. But the habitat we had did not have the access point or tiny air wholes and it was tricky. The entire family is out preparing the new habitat and looking for a new creature to observe.

This is a nice enclosure that is pre assembled (except for the knob that you screw into the door) and is well built. It is sturdier than the ones you build and hinge together with rubber bands. This also has great ventilation along with a swivel circle that you can use as a feeding port. This enclosure has a front swing door that is secured with magnets, which is ideal for jumping spiders especially that build their nests in the tops of enclosures. With the swinging front door, it is also easy to mist them with water or rearrange something inside without having to take a lid off and disturb them. This is also very affordable, and will create a great habitat.
