First relay failed to operate. Ordered a second as I was in a time crunch. Second also failed to operate. Purchase a new relay from the Cummins dealer and worked as intended. After the second failure, I read the reviews and they seem to be accurate, with several reviews having similar results.

307-2586 307-2570 307-1617 307-0845 Starter Relay Compatible with Cummins Universal Onan 12V.After installing this part my generator would not start. After days of tracing wires to find where the problem was, I found the compatible relay you sell is not compatible but a 24v relay. by the time I found out the problem my return window through Amazon was closed and now Im stuck with the wrong part. even after carefully examining the description and ordering a more expensive part from this seller so I would be almost guaranteed the right part, I guess I was wrong. I had to purchase another relay locally and worked perfect. Lesson learned!
