エンクロージャーをどうするか考えていましたが、セールで安くなっていたので購入思っていたよりしっかりしていて、重さもほどほどで扱いやすい。ゴミが飛び散らないので、作業が捗ります。静音性はどこまで気にするかですが、ご近所がうるさくないところなら充分かと思います。

Got this to enable me to have the machine working within the house without causing dust and noise. Was slightly concerned by some comments about magnetic tape not sticking but it appears the design has been updated so the close is now via embedded magnets and this is no longer an issue. Fits the 3018-3020 series machines well - can be a little dark inside but its easy enough to hang a small rechargeable light inside on the provided loops. Its not removing all the noise but cuts it significantly and keeps pretty much all the dust inside.

I purchased the light plexi enclosure because the heavier one was not being sold in the USIt did little, then I added automotive deadening to the light one fully covered and this also addedlimited DB decrease. I finally purchased the portable and found it was not very rigid when put together and did a minimal decrease in DB then i put the plexi inside the portable, and packed the inbetweeen with sound proof foam and after any attempt got the DB level to 55

da hobbista non ho molto spazio a disposizione e mi arrangio lavorando sul balcone. la riduzione del rumore è minima soprattutto quando la fresa è al lavoro. invece il suo compito principale di limitare la polvere in giro per casa lo compie bene. isolamento perfetto anche grazie agli ottimi materiali del prodotto. bisogna però fare attenzione che appunto la polvere rimane all'interno della struttura e quindi viene catturata dalle ventole alimentatore/controller/motore creando spesso delle ostruzioni sui vari sistemi di raffreddamento. quindi un frequente controllo è sicuramente richiesto aspirando gli accumuli della lavorazione. sicuramente inserendo una aspirazione sul motore sarebbe perfetta ma qui altro macchinario e altro rumore. non è un difetto. sono cose che si scoprono con l'utilizzo .Lo consiglio sicuramente perchè ripeto è sicuramente un buon prodotto. forse il prezzo dovrebbe essere un po più basso

Good little cover. It's a little pricey for what it is, that's the only reason I put down 4 stars. It would also be better if it had a magnet on the front flap to seal the door when it's closed. Cuts down on noise and clean up a lot. I would definitley buy it again

Vraiment top! Réduit le bruit et limite la projection de bois ou autre matériaux. Se monte très facilement et ne prend pas beaucoup de place

This is a great upgrade for an affordable CNC machine - something that truly makes it desktop, since noise is the next issue to space. I will say that it takes up a much larger footprint that the original machine. Some loss of space is to be expected, but this brought my machine from 14” wide to 21” (photo 1), and from 12” tall to 16” (photo 2). Still very manageable, but it is bigger than it needs to be.I like the dust port and the flexible cable port, which can also be an air intake for the dust port. For the emergency stop, my 3018 doesn’t have a big red button- but I do have a motion pendant (photo 3). The connector just fits through the hole, so that’s a nice way to bring control outside the enclosure.The acrylic windows on top & bottom are great visability - I am not sure I will need to mount LED lights inside, but at least I can in the future. Tool pouches and power-supply mounting are also nice thoughts.The good thing about all this inside room is that I’m confident there’s plenty of space for cables to move around and the work material to move front/back without bumping too much.What’s next? A cutting fluid recycling system I imagine! But in fact, putting this enclosure around the job, and attaching a small shop vac, increases the airflow around both the motor and the tool, keeping it a little cooler, and easier to observe.It is definitely a winner!

This CNC enclosure is a huge upgrade for my 3018 series router, allowing me to reduce noise and dust so that I can operate it in my home instead of leaving it in my garage. The dust port is flexible, so it will work with a variety of shop vac nozzles including my mini vac. There is also a port for an emergency stop button along with an extension, which allows me to mount the button on the outside, where I can easily access it. I can also run my offline controller through the same port, and I will likely attach an additional hook and loop tape to the back of the controller so that I can mount it to the enclosure.The size of this is more than sufficient for the router, leaving plenty of room for all the cords while the router is in motion. It is easy and quick to set up and take down, making this easy to store while in it's flattened state. I could have built an enclosure, but with the list of projects I want to tackle, an enclosure is at the bottom of the list and definitely not as much fun. Ordering a pre-made one has allowed me to get right to work on the ever-increasing list of fun projects I'm dreaming up. The enclosure fits together with sturdy hook and loop tape. It takes less than two minutes to fully assemble. I'm actually very surprised with how sturdy the enclosure is once all the pieces are connected.My favorite thing about this is that it offers good visibility while the machine is in motion. With acrylic windows covering a majority of the top and front, I can easily view the progress of my projects. Overall, this has improved my CNC setup greatly. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a portable enclosure option.
