Fits perfectly and keeps my camera powered for close to 3 hours. Have taken it to several events and ran out of storage before the battery died.

This pack is about half a millimeter wider and a third of a millimeter thicker than the original Sony batteries. While this doesn't sound like much, it's enough that this battery will jam inside cameras where the battery compartment is enclosed. I tried with two Mavica cameras, an FD200 and FD75. Normally, a spring will push the battery out of the camera as soon as a latch is released. On the 200, the battery needed to be wiggled back and forth. On the 75, I had to employ needle-nose pliers to pull the battery back out. I ended up making a tab out of packing tape to assist, but shouldn't have to if the battery were a true replacement for the original NP-F330. Keep in mind, both of these cameras are also in the compatibility list for this product!It's annoying, because this battery is otherwise very good. The cameras recognize it, and the battery meter is accurate. I'm also able to charge it using the original Sony chargers. I don't have a way to really test the capacity, but 2900mAh/21Wh seems reasonable. That's a pretty big boost over the original 700mAh/5Wh battery from 2002, and gives much improved runtime.In summary, I would NOT recommend buying this if you have any Sony camera where the battery slides into an enclosed compartment. Odds are, it will get jammed and require extrication. If you're using a camcorder where the battery just clips onto the rear, go for it as this shouldn't be a problem.

Seems to be a good battery. Aftermarket stuff but seems to hold a charge just as well as OEM stuff. Fitment is good and locks in with no issues. Overall good battery so far at a 3rd of the price.

Bough this battery for Sony hangycam trv98 literature shows battery is for camera but does not charge should have light on till charged but only blinks . Buy the time you return it and pay freight return policy is a joke
