This stainless steel potato ricer is sturdy, durable, and works like a charm. It makes it super easy to get smooth, silky mashed potatoes without the hassle. As long as you rinse promptly, washing is a breeze! Can easily fit a couple potatoes at a time. Definitely a great addition to any kitchen if you love creamy mash!

It worked how I needed it to, but it is not very sturdy or easy to use. The masher part gets caught on the bucket and bends too easily. It is easier then hand mashing, but I used twice and now the masher part is bent.

This potato ricer appears very sturdy and durable. It is a one-piece kitchen utensil that is made from stainless steel. It has good weight and does not feel lightweight or cheap. It is comfortable to hold in the hand. There is a hole on the end of the ricer for hanging. It is used to process potatoes and other soft foods by forcing them through small holes in the bottom of the hopper. Just place cooked potatoes or other soft foods inside the hopper, then squeeze the handles together and the food squeezes out through the holes, making the food very soft and free from lumps. There is no need for a hand mixer. My family especially enjoys mashed potatoes that have been riced, as the potatoes turn out very smooth and creamy. Overall, this ricer is well-made, sturdy, and comfortable to hold.

The best mashed potatoes! I have always seen videos of chefs using the ricer and i finally got one. This thing works great and really does help make those potatoes creamier/smoother. It's larger than I thought it would be, but can easily be cleaned and stored. Definitely worth getting one!

This potato ricer is pretty versatile! It only has one size holes for smashing food, but seems to work pretty well with a lot of different types of food. I've tried it for chickpeas and avocados, and both worked well. The product description also states that you can use it to juice a lemon (or other fruits), and I believe it would work well for that as well. The whole thing is very sturdy, well made, and simple to wash - just toss it in the dishwasher! Highly recommend!

Very heavy duty. Larger than I expected, can easily fit half of a baking-size russet inside. But pieces would be smaller than that for boiling anyway. Makes quick work of 10 diced and boiled potatoes, gives a very creamy texture I’ve never gotten with a hand masher.

This potato riser is exactly what I was needing to get those creamy smooth potatoes with absolutely no lumps. The best way I have found to use this ricer is after I have prepared the potatoes as good as I can with an electric hand mixer, and I have gotten all of the lumps I can out with it. Upon putting the potato ricer into my “workflow“, I really just added it as the last step and honestly, it could not be better. The potato ricer is very easy to use, is made well, and does exactly what it is supposed to do. If you want perfectly creamy and smooth, mashed potatoes, then I recommend this potato ricer.
