I purchased this for one of my baskets and it fits perfect. The birds love it and it is much easier than bagged loose mealworms!

This looks great, nice and tasty-looking, we put it out for the squirrels this morning, and we'll come back and update this review when we see whether they like it.There are red squirrels and gray squirrels in the woods here, and also an occasional jet-black squirrel. . . and they're all so fun!

A really substantial, heavy block of well-mixed foods for wild birds. Instantly popular with my yard population. With a side dish of mealworms, you'll get every bird in the area coming shopping all day long. So far, the block is attracting cardinals, titmouse, blue jays, woodpeckers, grosbeaks, and one big catbird. The sparrows, nuthatch, and bluebirds come and grab the crumbs that fall. Great product.

I have been purchasing this product for a couple years now. I wanted to have bluebirds at my house, and I couldn't figure out a way to attract them until I found this cake for them. I now have plan birds and see them being at this cake quite often. I was told it is the mealworms in it that they enjoy so much.

This is the second time that I ordered this same product. The first time I ordered it, the block of bird food arrived in a box with other items that I had ordered. It was in good condition with only a few crumbs that had broken away. The second time I ordered it, it arrived in a soft-sided mailer. Unfortunately, because of this, almost 1/3 of the seed had broken away. I did not seek to return it this time, but in the future I will. My birds really enjoy the product and I enjoy them. I felt notifying you of the poor condition of the feed when sent in a soft-sided mailer was important.

Didn't have one cardinal partake of the seed cake but the smaller wren type birds and squirrels seemed to really like it.

This is a large seed cake which fits nicely in my large seed basket! It disappeared quickly and there were so many birds feeding I couldn't see the basket. Naturally, the squirrels were not going to be left out of the feast!
