Attention:
1.Manual adapter without autofocus or aperture ring.
2.Skillful installation, don't too much force.
3.Adapting an APS-frame lens to a full-frame camera may generate vignetting, some cameras could correct it by adjusting APSC.
4.Adapting a full-frame lens to an APS-frame camera provides excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by using the 'sweet spot' or center of the larger lens image circle. And it will magnify the focal length by 1.6 on Canon, 1.5 on Nikon and Sony, 2.0 on M4/3 camera
Infinity focus position:
The position of the infinity mark [∞] of the telephoto lens is shifted slightly to the positive side to enable focus adjustment even when focus shift is caused due to temperature changes. The shift range is denoted by an L-shaped line, Be sure to check the focus through the viewfinder even when you shoot at infinity.
No Lens Attached' - Warning Message Appears:
1.If your camera indicates "lens is not properly installed", please modify the camera settings: 'Menu' -> 'Setup' -> 'Release w/o Lens' -> 'Enable' (Exact naming and location may change depending on camera model). If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will be maximum aperture by default.If you want to adjust the aperture but without manual control ring, then you need to remove the adapter ring and adjust the aperture on the camera.
2.Set camera "release shutter without lens" to enable when using the adapter for the first time, or the camera will fail to recognize the lens and the shutter may not be released.

This is the most worthless product ever. I don't know why they even offer it for sale. It's like the engineers just got product-happy and slapped together mating features for the Leica M lenses to the Nikon F frame and called it a day, without even thinking about whether or not that would really work. It doesn't. You simply cannot obtain the right lens-to-sensor (or film) distance by adding the adapter. It will only focus a couple of inches in front of the lens. Totally worthless, and they won't accept a return unless you pay the shipping, which is more than the cost of the adapter. Bad business practice, makes all their products suspicious. Not buying from a company that operates like this.

This is a great way to use my Leica lenses on a Nikon. But unfortunately my Nikon is not mirrorless and so the focus was off. It’s still a great product and I wished it had worked with my slr.

This ONLY works for macro shooting and does not work for regular applications.My mistake for not reading the small print but IMHO it should be more clearly stated. Bummer.

This adapter does not permit focusing past a few inches in front of the lens, making it useless.

Useless, don't buy it. The Leica focal plane and the Nikon focal plane are a total mismatch so you can't focus with the Leica lens on Nikon body. I don't even know why they make this product if they never tested it. A total waste of money.

The item itself is as-advertised.However, if you buy this to use a Leica-M lens on a NIkon body, you will NOT be able to focus to infinity. The cameras have different distances between the lens mount and the focal plane. Due to this difference you can only focus out to a very short distance with the Leica-M lens-like a macro lens.
