Maybe I am missing something but getting the coiled cord through the little opening on the GH6 battery door is really annoying, so if you plan on swapping this frequently. You’d be better off with a straight cord.Otherwise, it works well. Make sure you use a USB battery with enough power output to keep the camera on. I don’t know the minimum but I have an Anker 45W that keeps the GH6 powered.

This adapter is a game-changer for extended S5M2X sessions! It solves the camera's short battery life and frees up the USB-C port for essential accessories like recording in ProRes to external SSDs. I shoot a lot of corporate events & documentaries so I needed to find a better solution for powering my camera for a long time. This dummy battery + a good power bank has worked wonders and now I NEVER have to worry about losing power. This dummy battery now lives in my camera, the only time I swap back to regular batteries is well never lol.Great quality cable and I love that it’s coiled, makes for a clean setup.
