This is an adapter for the miniature K-Type thermocouple connector to an older style banana plug connector. It connects the miniature connector (10mm or 7/16 inch spade type, see picture) to two round banana plugs (they are placed 3/4 inch apart, center to center). It will allow you to use the new thermocouples with older thermometer or multimeter or clamp meters. Many modern digital multimeters have a K-type thermocouple setting, but the thermocouple needs to be plugged into the round banana plug sockets. This adapter will connect the flat blades of the thermocouple connector to the round banana plug. the 3/4 inch spacing of the bananaplugs is the most common, but please measure the spacing on your meter Specification: For K-Type Thermocouple Wire *Chromel/Alumel* Use this thermocouple adaptor with any k-type thermocouple wire or insertion probe.
