I built a sculpture pedestal but have no easy way to connect a 110V spot light. This LED spot light is awesome, very versatile and solved my problem. I nailed the little holder thing on the wall, and the magnet is strong enough to hold it up. I can also just put it on the ground/pedestal in front of artwork to take pics. It can be operated from a button or with the remote control. As other have pointed out, it has a little aura but I don't mind, it actually looks cool. Brightness and light temp can be easily controlled. It's also very affordable. Good deal!

**** GOOD POINTS ****The light is rechargeable via a USB C port. The specs outlined in the included instructions list the input at 5 volts, 1 amp. So in addition to a phone type charger the light can be charged using most TVs and computers USB port as long as the power output meets the minimum 5 volts, 1 amp.Variable functions include brightness, color temperature, off timer. Except for the timer these functions can also be controlled by the power/function button (photo 4). This button is touch activated and does not “press”. The remote controls all functions and is required to set the timer. The remote is powered by a common and widely available CR-25 battery. The width of the light can be set by a manual dial that is attached to the lens. The light can be wall mounted using the supplied V shaped angle bracket or ceiling mounted using the supplied flat bracket (photo 2). The brackets can be mounted to a surface using the supplied screws or the attached adhesive pad. Note: plastic screw anchors are included if needed (photo 2).The light can also function unmounted setting on a level horizontal surface (photo 6).***** DEAL BREAKER ****The main issue in my opinion is the quality of the light. What other reviewers have described as a halo or rainbow is shown in my photos 5 and 6. I do realize the quality of a photo can be based on the skill of the photographer and/or quality of the camera. I used a smart phone. The point I am illustrating is just the halo which is more pronounced in about 180 degrees of the light.Photo 5: The light is setting on a standard height dining table shining up to an eight foot high ceiling. The light width is set to the minimum.Photo 6: The light is setting on a horizontal surface about two feet away from the wall. The light width is set to the minimum.**** THE REMOTE ****The remote is a handy feature, but it falls short in the angle of operation. I did a test. With the remote standing up on a table and the receiver (photo 4) only about five feet away I formed a 45 degree angle between the receiver and the remote. No button presses were registered from the remote. I moved to about a 30 degree angle and there was success. If the quality of the light was better I would gladly work around the angle limitation.

Very well nice. What we love best there's no drilling or need for an electrician. Had to order two. The lights are adjustable and the remote is a plus

This small portable spotlight has completely exceeded my expectations! There are so many features packed into this device including the ability to focus the light both as a spotlight and broader if needed for a floodlight. There are various color temperatures that can be changed with a button on the remote control, it is positionable up to 45 degrees; however, there is a magnetic clip attachment that comes with it so it can be used in combination with the spotlight to make the angle of the light very versatile! I wanted this to highlight some artwork, and it doesn't disappoint. This is a wireless light as well, so no installation is required. The battery is rechargeable via USB-C, and the savings on batteries alone will soon pay for the spotlight! There is one rather strange thing, however. The light has a "halo" effect around the circle of light, and it often has a rainbow effect. It doesn't change the circle of light itself as it is focused on the artwork, but it does create a somewhat circular outline around the light as if it is circling the artwork. It took me some time to get used to this, but now I hardly notice since the light looks so good on the artwork. In fact, it almost looks as if it has been intentionally planned in that way. I have asked friends what their opinion is, and most agree that it doesn't detract from the artwork at all. This is something to be aware of if you think that might bother you.As far as additional features, the remote control handles the light temperature as well as the brightness of the light. It also controls the on/off function -- all of these with a simple press of a button on the remote. One really great feature is that all of these things can be controlled on a small touch-sensitive button on the light itself. This gives you the ability to change the functions as needed without having to use the remote (in the event you lost the remote). The light has a magnetic base, so it can attach to any metal surface, and it also comes with an adhesive base that is magnetic on one side, so once the adapter is adhered to a wall or ceiling, you simply attach the spotlight via its magnetic base! Very, very cool. All in all, this is a great little spotlight. It may take you a while to get accustomed to the halo outline effect around the spot, but it functions well in every other way!

I really wanted to like this and it’s SO close to being great, but it has some major flaws. The good: it’s very bright, and the ability to adjust the width of the beam of light is nice. The bad: the magnet isn’t strong enough to keep it securely in place, the remote only works if you point it directly at the IR receiver, and when you turn it off and back on it reverts to a dim warm light rather than staying on whatever setting was last used.I’m going to try to 3D print some sort of holder for it, because it does have potential but the weak magnet is a dealbreaker. The slightest bump or jostle sends it flying.
