Great product, it works with our tesla charger to charge my Silverado EV. Snaps on and lock in place with ease. The I just plug it in and start charging without issue. It is a little snug and will scuff up the tesla handle. This doesn't effect its ability to work on the tesla or with the silverado.

I rented a Kia Niro EV, and used this to charge it with my Tesla mobile charger.-- It worked great when the mobile charger was plugged in to 240V (Level 2).-- It did not work when the mobile charger was plugged in to 120V. About 10 seconds after plugging it in, the car announced that charging had stopped.Otherwise it fit well, and I liked the slide switch on the bottom that allowed it to be released from the Tesla charger.

Planning on replacing my Teslas with non-Elon EVs so bought this connector to connect CCS1 EVs to my Tesla wall charger. The adapter worked well the first day but then failed on the second overnight charge. It was raining that night so best guess is water infiltration into the adapter. I let it dry overnight and it still failed to work. Ended up ordering a replacement from a different brand which confirmed the issue is the adapter.

I tested this with a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV truck. The adapter was scuffed up and probably was a return. As far as operation, I tested it on a Tesla destination charger and it worked fine. I was getting 14kW charge current. Then I tested it with my Tesla Mobile connector. This test was successful only when used with a 240V/50A cord or with a 240V/20A cord. However, the Zenz adapter would not work on my Tesla Mobile Connector when it was connected to a 110V/15A Adapter. In this configuration, the GFCI breaker at the receptacle immediately tripped when I plugged the adapter into my truck. I chose not to try again with a Non-GFCI receptacle, because that would not be a realistic test. In the USA any garage, wet location, or outdoor receptacle must be GFCI protected. I need the adapter to work in the environment where charging is going to happen.FWIW: the adapter is placarded with a voltage range of 110-240V.

Review is for the LENZ Tesla (NACS) to J1772 AC adapter. Amazon says this does not fit a 2025 Audi Q6 but it does and it works fine.. When you plug the NACS handle into the adapter you need to manually lock it with a slide latch underneath it. It would be better if it latched automatically and had a release button. I use this daily to charge my Q6 from my Tesla wall adapter.

I bought the Lenz NACS to j1772 adapter back in Jan 2025. Apparently it must have been Generation 1 model. In the beginning Gen 1 worked fine charging my non Tesla EV from my AC Tesla mobile charger. Then all of a sudden after 3 months, it just stopped working completely. Lenz customer service was very responsive and sent me a “2nd Generation” charger adapter which is smaller and more compact over Gen 1.This Gen 2 adapter seems to be working well, but only time will tell. Ask for/ Order only the new2 nd generation charger and save yourself grief. The picture shows Gen 1 vsthe 2nd Generation which is #12201.

I have a Tesla, so I already had a 220V Tesla Wall Charger. We just purchased a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe plugin hybrid for my wife, but it only came with 110V charger. I was thinking that the charge port on the Jeep was a NACS portand would just work with my Tesla charger, but I was wrong - it's a J1772 port on the Jeep. But, with this adapter I can use my Tesla wall charger to charge the Jeep too. It took me all of 10 seconds to connect this adapter to the Tesla charger and we now have 220V charging on the Jeep too! It comes in a nice carrying case to keep in the car. It's a compact design, and it's exactly what we needed. 5 stars for sure!

I am a previous Tesla owner and now have a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST truck and was wondering if my current Generation 2 Tesla Wall Charger could be used to charge my new truck. This product came in and it worked as described. No issues whatsoever. Time will tell on the durability and dependability of this item, but so far, I am pleased. Build quality seems to be solid as well. For the price and compared to another adapter I purchased for over 100 dollars (US), I am very happy with this price and charging capability.
