Only has 2 settings now. I’ve had a Lezyne 1600 for years and it works great still. I had hoped this one would as well. Did they switch manufactories ?? Disappointing

This is a good quality like the strap is way too short, so on thicker handlebars, it does not fit.The quality of light is reasonable. I keep thinking it should be yellow tone, instead of an ice white as that seems to highlight the road and all the ground features slightly better when riding. Claims to be 1200 lm process, bright more or less as 1000 lm. The 700 lumens flash is dull. The old 1000 lm light is better at 1/3 of the price!!

Seems well made and easy to mount. Not sure yet on battery life since limited use so far.

I have had this about a month and overall I like it a lot.Super bright (a lot brighter than those no-name lights that boast huge, unrealistic lumen numbers). The shape is very compact-it is shorter and a little stubbier than other Lezyne lights I have owned. I prefer this stubbier shape since it takes up less space in the handlebar area than the longer, skinnier shaped lights. The rubber fastening strap takes a fair bit of muscle to get it around my road bars with cables under the tape. But it is super secure and doesn't move while riding. I like a rubber strap mount much better than the metal clamps found on other brands-this light fits a wider variety of handlebar shapes. Here is my minor gripe: Since the rubber strap is fairly tough to get attached to the handlebar, I like to leave the light on the bike between rides but the little usb-c charging port is a little tough to access for charging while the light is attached to the bars on my bike, partially because the brake and gear housing get in the way. But I can rotate the light around a bit to get decent access to the port.I would still recommend this light highly. This is the third Lezyne light I have had and I have liked them all but I like this one the best.

~~ Update: customer service thought I was based in the uk and corrected their mistake, sending me out a new button very rapidly. Great customer service experience ~~I've had this light less than a year and the power button has fallen out twice. The second time lost forever. Which led to exchanges with Lezyne customer support... which led them to direct me to UK suppliers, which charge a $60 delivery fee.Other than that, the light is very bright and has a reasonable battery life on the 250/500 lumen settings.

We've had great experiences with the LEZYNE 800XL and 1000XL bike lights. We own four of them, 2 of each brightness. Both are great and both are very bright lights. I especially like the mounting because it's quick and easy to move the lights from one bike to another and take them off for charging. The rubber strap mounting makes it easy. We had 3 bikes on our bike tour and bought a 4th light just in case, but we really didn't need it as the lights would last a full day without requiring charging when left in the slow blink mode. They don't last as long in the 1000 lumens mode but there are times when that mode is nice for safety.

This light appears to be very well built, light, and rugged. The on/off button is not flimsy. It also looks good. That's why I'm still giving it 3 stars on this review. Also, it may be okay for some activities. However, the manual for the 1000XL states that it should operate for 3 hours in blast mode (500 lumens). It doesn't. For a brand new light and a full charge, you'll get just over 2 hours in blast mode. After that, it switches to some sort of "conservation" mode where it gives off about as much light as an orange cat. There's also a ridiculous number of selectable modes. More than four modes is stupid and this light has eight. Finally, the rubber securing strap is barely long enough for some bars and helmet mounts, including the one sold by Lezyne. That's a lot of bad stuff. Still, the product has potential. Put in a decent battery (or change the specs), make the strap 1" longer, and cut the number of modes in half and you'll have a winner.

I have been flashed by cars more than a few times with this light its no joke the beam spreads wide all the way across the road. The issue i have with pretty much all these light is the battery life at the highest setting you get just a bit over an hour. I stopped using it on that setting so now i have a (500 lumen light with the battery back for a 1000 lumen light. This light has a bit of heft to it so if you are trying to shave weight on your bike this wont help. but if you want to see and be seen this is close to ass good as it gets
