1. If using on an upgraded motorized Trike, those standard wheel bearings will need replacing - originals produce wobbling (can be misconstrued as out of true or bent axle).2. The hubs are pressed together, not welded. Therefore, mainly on the drive side, the inner & outer spoke plates don't 'keep time' together as the wheel rotates. That's if the three short bolts that come with some axles/wheels are used to bolt to axle drive plate. Solution: use longer quality bolts, with Nylock nuts, but not too long that they can't rotate freely with the hub (which would happen if they knock into the axle housing!) - about 70mm.3. (direct follow on from#2) When the three longer bolts are used, it's ESSENTIAL that they are tightened down uniformly - if not, wheel trueness suffers as the central hub spoke plates are not evenly tensioned (a spacer of some type is suggested before the nut goes on the end.4. The rims are chrome plated steel, & their weakest rust prone areas are the spoke holes. I've had mine just over a year now, & on inspection, see multiple holes with surface rust that needs to be cleaned & treated (? any ideas?). Valve hole is a major offender.5. With the required attention to cleaning & adjusting, these wheels, with their heavy steel rims, could well outlast others in your stable.Pics are of these 72 spoke Lowriders, connected to their Lowrider 5'8" axle (note: I haven't, as yet, found or bought the nut spacers as mentioned above in #3..! (the black band seen on the hub is a shoelace tied loosely, which helps to keep a clean hub clean - I've not tried it having to rotate over three bolts before, tho.
